This is a hand dyed scarf using natural dyes only.
On the blue-grey side I hand dyed with stencil dyeing katazome and made design with pink color. We use our hand-carved paper =katagami for applying different mordant colors. Katazome is one of dyeing techniques using stencil paper =katagami.
Blue-grey color with patterns dyed with Lac. Grey dyed with Betel nut.
