It is gently handwoven using two strands of fine yarn, giving it a fluffy, soft texture with trapped air, unlike machine-woven products. It has a very smooth feel and drapes lightly. We have woven a delicate and intricate pattern using soft ivory for the warp and a deep, lustrous black for the weft. In traditional Japanese colors, this is a beautiful shade close to "urushiiro" (lacquer black). The woven pattern and color appear differently on the front and back, allowing you to enjoy various expressions depending on how you wear it. Its fluffiness, softness, and warmth make it suitable as an alternative to a top or coat in spring and autumn, and it's recommended to wear it snugly around the neck like a scarf in winter.
