A girl at the end of her day takes off her cardigan, then her shirt, changes into pajamas, and gets into bed. (The smallest doll has a pillow attached to its head.) Her expression starts alert, gradually softening into a sleepy gaze… Finally, she closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep, so please lay her down gently. We hope that opening and closing the dolls can bring a sense of calm on sleepless nights… The faces are kept very simple, finished to highlight the natural grain of the wood. Designs are drawn using a pyrography tool (wood burning) and colored with stain paints that enhance the wood's texture. The colors will not fade, so feel free to take them out and put them back together as much as you like.
