A Glimpse of Memory My fondness for walnut shortbread cookies all started with Grandma. It was her favorite snack, a taste etched in my memory. A small neighborhood store sold a pack of six for 40 NT dollars. She would carefully take out a folded, old 50 NT dollar bill from her coin purse.
