Ms. Shiori handmade a non-metallic fabric braided cord, about 1.8mm thick and 50cm long, accented with golden alloy fittings to create a classic Chinese style. This is connected to the four-leaf clover jade pendant, forming a comfortable-to-wear four-leaf clover pendant necklace. Ms. Shiori's design, with its tinkling adornments, embodies a graceful and resilient classic Chinese aesthetic, allowing a beautiful classical temperament to subtly emerge in your everyday life. Xiuyan jade, scientifically known as Xiuyuan jade, is a specialty of Xiuyan County, Liaoning Province, China, and is a product with a national geographical indication. It is one of the four great jades in Chinese history, renowned alongside Lantian jade from Shaanxi, Hetian jade from Xinjiang, and Dushan jade from Henan. The earliest mention of Xiuyan jade appears in the "Erya," a book from the Western Han Dynasty. Xiuyuan jade can be divided into two categories: one is "old jade," with its pebbles called "river polished jade," which is nephrite with a simple and substantial texture, and a pale yellowish-white color. The other category is Xiuyan jadeite, which has a solid yet lustrous texture, fine and rounded, mostly green to lake green in color, with deep green, translucent, and unblemished pieces being prized. With a history spanning over ten thousand years, Xiuyan jade is China's oldest, most abundant, and most widely used variety of jade. There's an interesting legend about the formation of Xiuyan jade. It is said to have been first discovered in the mountains of Xiuyan, a place originally named "Xiu Yan" (秀岩), which was later changed to "Xiuyan" (岫岩) due to the discovery of the jade. Xiuyan jade boasts a rich palette of colors, including green, yellow, white, black, and gray. Its basic tones can be classified into light green, pale green, yellowish-green, green, deep green, dark green, light yellow, yellow, lemon yellow, white, milky white, yellowish-white, and grayish-white. The transparency of Xiuyan jade ranges from slightly translucent to semi-translucent, exhibiting a waxy to glassy luster.
