Sensei Nakamura, a craftsman with a gentle demeanor and refined presence, has retired from his career as a kimono artisan. With his impeccable taste and skill, he selects exquisite kimono fabrics to create these one-of-a-kind clasp purses. - ◾️ The [Black Cat Series], inspired by beloved felines: Sensei Nakamura is exceptionally particular about the materials used for his clasp purses. He specially selects 100% "Tango Chirimen" premium kimono silk for the purse exterior, which is then dyed black. The golden lines are meticulously hand-applied with gold leaf, stroke by stroke. The inner lining varies with each creation. (This level of meticulousness is almost enough to drive oneself and the Sensei mad...) With its playful, spirited eyes paired with a classic, elegant silhouette, you'll fall in love, whether you're a devoted cat lover or not. ------ The spirit of dedication to craftsmanship is fully evident in the details and material selection of these works.
