He worked in the field of easel and book graphics. He graduated from the Kiev Art Institute (1953). Teachers in his specialty - I. Pleshchinsky, A. Sreda, V. Kasyan. Participated in exhibitions: republican since 1951, all-Union since 1957, foreign exhibitions since 1963. Main works: graphic series “Soviet Borislav” (1957); “Industrial Ukraine” (1960); “On Guard of Peace” (1965); Industrial Pridneprovye (1972); illustrations and designs for the book by O. Makovey ‘Yaroshenko’ (1966); collection “Cossack Songs” (1968). Works by Georgiy Zubkovsky are kept in the main museums of Ukraine and in private collections.
