This heat-resistant glass combines the functionality of heat-resistant glass with the texture of colored glass, which develops during the manufacturing process. It can be poured with boiling water and microwaved.
Note: As this is a handmade product, the color, appearance, size, volume, and weight may vary slightly. Air bubbles may form when the glass is rolled up. In addition, patterns may appear in the base color, which occurs when the color develops through tarnish. Please understand that this is a characteristic of handmade products.

About NOTOJIMA GLASS FACTORY
The history of Notojima Glass dates back to 1984, when Ishikawa Prefecture invited the Tokyo Glass Research Institute to establish the Notojima Glass Workshop in a repurposed, decommissioned school building. The initiative aimed to develop innovative glass techniques, attract tourists, and stimulate regional growth. In 1991, the Notojima Glass Art Museum was inaugurated, showcasing diverse contemporary glass artworks.
The workshop's establishment coincided with the opening of the Notojima Bridge, which facilitated the island's development. The project creatively repurposed the idle school facility and drew inspiration from ceramic artists in Tsubata Town and Venetian glass production on Murano Island.
Heat-resistant rainbow glass is a remarkable innovation that combines aesthetic appeal with practical utility. Engineered with specialized components that create a dynamic color-changing effect during rapid heating and cooling, this glass offers a unique visual experience while being safe for microwave use.
Maintaining the transparency of conventional glass, it incorporates ceramic-like textures and vibrant hues, resulting in a sophisticated and elegant design. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and artistry of handmade creations.
The Hotto-G series presents a diverse range of options to suit various preferences. The "Standard Series" emphasizes minimalist elegance, the "Melody Series" highlights refined details, and the playful "Dotto Series" adds a touch of whimsy. These collections reflect distinct styles while maintaining the high-quality standards synonymous with this innovative glassware.
Originating from Noto Island in Ishikawa Prefecture, these heat-resistant glasses seamlessly merge regional charm with superior design. Perfect for enhancing everyday living, they bring both functionality and an artistic touch to modern households.
