2024 Zodiac Money Envelope, Dragon & Treasure Motif, Set of 3 - Envelopes & Letter Paper - Paper White

Product Description

Money Envelope (Fukinpo): Dragon (Tatsu) & Treasure Motif, Set of 3 Envelopes sized to fit bills without folding. Designed with a celebratory treasure motif, enhanced with the addition of a dragon. Finished size: 80mm x 168mm. Set of 3 identical designs. 2024 marks the Year of the Dragon (Tatsu). The Dragon (Tatsu) is often likened to the mythical creature, the dragon. In Chinese culture, the dragon is revered as a sacred and powerful being, symbolizing "justice." It embodies "strength" and "success," anticipated to usher in a year of new beginnings and opportunities. These envelopes are suitable for use not only during New Year but throughout the year. What is Fukinpo? Fukinpo are envelopes used for presenting monetary gifts, also known as 'noshifukuro.' They are sized to accommodate not only yen but also dollar bills and yuan. They can also be used as regular envelopes. Besides money, they can hold messages or small trinkets. Though perhaps subtle in the photos, gold ink has been used. Printed using stencil printing, giving a slightly retro feel. The designs are the same, but the color schemes vary. Please note that slight misalignments or fading in the printing are intentional, part of the artisanal printing process. We hope you enjoy this characteristic as part of its charm. *If even the slightest misalignment is a concern, please refrain from ordering. Due to the nature of the printing process, some degree of misalignment is inevitable. Misalignments may be more pronounced in areas with multi-color printing. As semi-water-soluble ink is used, colors may transfer if rubbed vigorously. Please be cautious. Repeatedly folding the same area may cause the ink to peel. As these are handmade, there may be slight variations in size. Paper: Suku Lait, Thickness: 102.7g/m2 Origin/Manufacturing Method: Made in Japan. #Noshibukuro #YearOfDragon #2024 #Reiwa #GoodLuckCharm #Pattern #Dragon #NewYear #YearOfTheDragon
