These are SDGs jewelry pieces featuring Kintsugi, upcycling Arita ware.
Broken or chipped pottery, no longer in use, is upcycled and reborn as accessories adorned with Kintsugi.
Our concept is to create modern accessories that connect to the future, allowing wearers to feel close to nature and enduring Japanese traditions, thereby generating new possibilities.
Elegant pottery fragments, revealing glimpses of an orange floral pattern, are paired with flower-like gold charms. They sway gently with every step, exuding a refined elegance.
Kintsugi adorns the sides of the pottery fragments, making the gold accents visible from every angle and enhancing their sophisticated appeal.
These pieces are perfect as a unique accent to elevate both casual and elegant outfits.
Length: Pottery fragment: 10 x 17mm Total length: 40mm
Metal fittings: Screw-back earrings (metal fittings cannot be changed)
Weight: Despite being pottery, they are lightweight and comfortable to wear.
As each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, it makes an ideal gift.
Consider them as a special present for your loved ones.
*As these are finished, one-of-a-kind items, we cannot accommodate requests for changes to the metal fittings or remake them.
*We will send the item pictured. However, if it has already been sold on another site, it may be made to order. In such cases, please note that there may be individual differences in color, pattern, and size compared to the pictured pottery fragments and natural stones.
*Kintsugi is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that mends broken or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional urushi lacquer made from the sap of the lacquer tree, this method uses adhesive for the bonding itself.
The Kintsugi parts are made with lacquer (a paint produced by a manufacturer, not raw lacquer) and gold powder (brass powder, pearl powder), with UV resin also used for reinforcement.
