The hinge also experiences minimal degradation from repeated opening and closing. The material used is a substantial 2mm thick vegetable-tanned cowhide, renowned for its exceptional aging properties. Over time, it will develop a rich, honey-like patina. The compact size of the mini 6-hole is its charm. We've made it as small as possible, so please confirm the dimensions to ensure it suits your needs. With a 15mm ring diameter, it comfortably holds approximately 100 sheets of paper. As a starter, we've included 50 sheets of our favorite "St-Etienne.co.jp memo fill SREF-G-01" 5mm grid paper. This ensures you can start using it right away, whether you're new to this type of notebook or a seasoned user. We encourage you to personalize your notebook by combining it with various commercially available papers, diaries, indexes, and clear pockets. For maintenance, use a small amount of delicate cream. As this notebook doesn't experience the same stress as bags or shoes, the natural oils from your hands are often sufficient. Avoid over-application of leather creams or oils. Using only natural vegetable tannins derived from mimosa bark, this full vegetable tanned saddle leather is crafted through a time-honored process of over 20 steps, passed down since the company's founding in 1937. About the Red Tag, the Mark of Tochigi Leather: The red tag is exclusively permitted for items crafted using 100% Tochigi Leather. At "Your Side Door," we affix the "Red Tag," the mark of Tochigi Leather, to all creations priced above 3,000 yen. However, please note that every single item we produce is made with Tochigi Leather.
