This work is based on the famous poem "Niannujiao" by Su Shi, a writer from the Song Dynasty. "Red Cliff Nostalgic" as the theme, the tin sculpture presents Su Shi's bold style and poetic flavor. The tin carvings are engraved with words from Su Shi's poems, which demonstrate the dynamic and power of calligraphy and also reflect the profound artistic conception of ancient literature. The words in the work seem to tell the stories of romantic figures throughout the ages, leading the viewer to travel through time and space and return to that poetic historical moment.
Design concept:
The design concept is to combine tin carving technology and Chinese calligraphy art to vividly express the emotion and momentum in Su Shi's poems through the texture of tin and carving skills. The work is intended to convey a sense of historical heaviness and literary depth, allowing viewers to not only appreciate the carving craftsmanship, but also feel the beauty and philosophy of Chinese classical poetry.
