A note before you proceed: please do not place an order if you cannot accept the following. Solder, upon contact with air, will oxidize and change over time. This is most noticeable with copper-colored solder, which will transform from a bright copper to an antique bronze, and eventually to a deep brown. Therefore, it will absolutely not look exactly like the photograph. We cannot control how the dyes change. If you are unable to accept the variations in copper color due to oxidation, please request a black finish from the designer, as it shows the least change. Recycled antique glass, often decades old, may exhibit minor scratches, color variations, or air bubbles resulting from its history and environment. Slight imperfections and edge chips may also occur during the glass grinding process, particularly with clear glass and mirror finishes. These are all considered normal. ▴ The patterns and colors within the glass are unique to each piece. No two items will be exactly alike. Please discuss thoroughly with the designer before placing an order to ensure your understanding and satisfaction. ▴ Solder, whether dyed or not, will develop a patina or darken upon prolonged exposure to air due to oxidation. This change is most pronounced in copper finishes. ▴ Do not use to store food, as even 99% pure solder is not food-grade tin. ▴ Some containers without pre-drilled holes can hold water, but this will accelerate solder oxidation and may lead to the formation of white crystalline deposits. ▴ To promote environmental sustainability, we use simple, eco-friendly packaging for all shipments. ▴ For the safety of your purchase, please record a video of yourself unboxing the glass item to protect your rights in case of damage. Care Instructions: ▴ The surface of the solder will form an oxidation layer over time with air exposure. This can be gently removed with a toothpick. For daily maintenance, simply wipe with a dry cotton cloth. ▴ For advanced care, a thin layer of polishing wax (such as carnauba wax) can be applied to the surface. Once dry, buff with a clean cotton cloth to restore shine.
