Product Description

Vintage English bone china teacup and saucer set from the Blue Blossom series made by Royal Albert. Thomas C. Wild bought the Albert Works in Longton, Stoke on Trent in 1895. This factory had been named after Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's Consort. It specialised in tea, breakfast and dessert pieces with floral designs, and it soon gained a reputation of producing beautiful china tea & breakfast sets, firmly establishing the Royal Albert name. The Blue Blossom pattern was in production from 1989 to 1998. This set is in undamaged, fairly good condition with wear on the gold rim. The saucer has some surface marks due to usage.
