●● The art of "playing" with jade emphasizes "mutual nourishment between person and jade."
The consistent saying about "playing" with jade is "nurture jade for three years, and jade nurtures you for a lifetime." Jade contains abundant trace elements, which are activated by the heat generated from handling and playing with the jade. However, an easier method is what is referred to today as "mutual nourishment." The simplest way to play with and care for jade is through close, personal wear! The body's secreted sweat and oils effectively moisturize the jade, making it more lustrous and radiant. In turn, the jade, warmed by the body, activates its trace elements, which enter the body through the skin, enhancing blood circulation and boosting metabolism, thus promoting health and well-being!
●● Jade should be properly maintained when not worn.
If you cannot wear jade close to your body or are unable to wear it for special reasons, it must be maintained promptly. You can periodically oil the jade. Drip baby oil, olive oil, or vegetable oil onto a toothbrush, then brush it evenly onto the jade. Seal it in a bag for storage.

●●● What is Hetian Jade?
Hetian Jade is one of China's "Four Great Famous Jades." Traditionally, in a narrow sense, it specifically refers to jade produced in the Hetian region of Xinjiang, with its "pebble" stones being world-renowned. In a broader sense, Hetian Jade refers to nephrite (true jade).
When Qin Shi Huang unified China, Hetian Jade was known as "Kunlun Mountain Jade" because it was produced in the Kunlun Mountains. Later, it was called "Yutian Jade" as it was located within the "Yutian Kingdom." It was not officially named "Hetian Jade" until the ninth year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1883), when the Hetian directly administered prefecture was established.
Although Hetian Jade is named after Hetian in Xinjiang, it is not a geographical concept in itself. It does not specifically refer to jade produced in the Hetian region of Xinjiang but is the name of a category of products. China names any stone with a tremolite content of over 98% as Hetian Jade, falling within national standards. Therefore, whether it is produced in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Liaoning, Russia, Canada, or South Korea, as long as its main component is tremolite, it can be called Hetian Jade.
Hetian Jade comes in a rich variety of colors, including white, cyan, gray, light to dark green, yellow to brown, and black.
Hetian Jade is a metamorphic rock formed by the contact metasomatism between magnesian marble and intermediate-acid magmatic rocks. It contains a mineral aggregate including tremolite, actinolite, and hornblende. Its chemical composition is hydrous calcium magnesium silicate, with the chemical formula Ca2(Mg,Fe)5[Si8O22](OH)2. Its density is 2.95-3.17, and its Mohs hardness is between 6.0 and 6.5.
The main structure of Hetian Jade is metamorphic structure, including felt-like cryptocrystalline metamorphic structure, microfibrous cryptocrystalline metamorphic structure, microfibrous crystalline metamorphic structure, microplaty cryptocrystalline metamorphic structure, microplaty metamorphic structure, and micro-radial (brush-like) metamorphic structure. In addition, it includes less common residual filamentary structure and replacement coronite structure.
Although the mineral grains of Hetian Jade have a certain orientation, it is not strong. Occasionally, grains show undulatory extinction and plastic deformation. These indicate that the stress intensity of the metamorphic process was within the elastic limit of the minerals.
The main textures of Hetian Jade include massive and platy textures, with massive texture being more common.

[Brand Philosophy]
Jade, traversing millennia through dust and wind, as civilizations rise and fall day by day. With our own hands and wisdom, we polish it, adorn it, imbue it with soul and thought, and grant it personality and style.
Every piece of jade should have its story – what story it carries from the past, and what aspirations it holds for the future. This, I believe, is the vitality of jade. Regardless of the elements or themes, I hope to be grounded in the present, to record this era, and to tell its story through my own artistic language, hoping to resonate with more people.
