Yu, an illustrator described as stylish and interesting by DashinSocks, has created product packaging illustrations, novel and magazine cover art, and themed illustrations. Three years ago, she experienced a significant life change—the birth of her adorable baby. It was then that she transitioned from a full-time graphic designer to a part-time illustrator working from home to care for her child. She is currently a contributing artist for Visual China. In conceptualizing the scene, Yu aimed to capture the environment of office workers in meetings while also expressing their inner anxieties and aspirations. Thus, the overall linework forms the backdrop of their surroundings, with the complex situations faced by office workers serving as the main theme of the artwork. For the color palette, to complement the winter collection's colors and further emphasize the theme, a slightly nostalgic taupe was chosen for the background. To deepen and accentuate the theme, brighter orange tones were introduced, creating a contrast between the foreground and background. This resulted in a striking visual. Life yearns for poetry and distant horizons, but reality often brings无奈. This design aims to convey the message that it's okay to acknowledge the mundane, accept the ordinary, and embrace growth.
