She has received numerous accolades, including the Grand Prize for Picture Book Creation at the Hsin-Yi Children's Literature Award, the Openbook Award for Best Children's Book of the Year and "Writer of the Year," and the prestigious Marion Vannett Ridgway Memorial Award in New York, earning her recognition as a New York Illustrator of the Year. In 2013, she opened the Bon Bon Warehouse store in Pier-2 Art Center. In 2015, she co-founded the Greyish Friends Association. In 2022, after extensive preparation, the "No-Tail Banana Animal School" was officially established. Chinlun Lee's artwork consistently features animals. The shops, associations, and the school she founded are all named after her beloved pets. More than half of her life is spent in the company of the animals around her. Her experiences working at an animal hospital inspired her creative journey and the establishment of her animal-friendly concept store.
