Handwoven Silk Stole [Tsukikumo*02]
Materials: 60% Silk, 40% Acrylic
Dimensions: Approx. 57cm x 200cm (excluding 8cm fringe)
This large stole is handwoven using fine raw silk sourced from a reputable silk thread wholesaler in Kyoto's Nishijin district. The silk is semi-degummed to achieve a soft texture and beautiful luster before being dyed into various colors.
It is woven using the traditional Nordic Monks Belt technique, combined with acrylic yarn that shares a glossy sheen similar to silk. The interplay of colors and woven patterns creates a distinctly Japanese aesthetic.
With a finely woven warp of 840 threads, and using single-twisted silk yarn, this stole offers exceptional smoothness and luster. Silk's superior moisture-wicking, release, and heat-retaining properties make it a supple accessory suitable for all seasons.
*As synthetic yarn is used, please iron with a slight distance, applying steam only.
*Gift wrapping is available free of charge; please let us know if you would like this service.
