About the Blue and White Porcelain Oval Dish with Small Fish and Ten Herbs|
In order to depict the lifelike fish, the craftsmen of Huxian Kiln not only delicately depicted its transparent and elegant posture, but also focused on presenting its charm of swimming flexibly on the water surface. Therefore, different pigments and brushes were used to carefully paint the details of the fish body, eyes, caudal fin, dorsal fin and tail.
Special emphasis is placed on the starting and ending points of the brushstrokes, and through clever brushstrokes, a natural gradient effect is created to make the picture more vivid. In addition, the detailed depiction of the fish's eyes is also a key detail, as it would be difficult to show its lively beauty if you are not careful.
Huxian Kiln hopes that through the unique skills of the craftsmen, users can appreciate this meticulously crafted fish art at the dining table and feel the ingenuity and ingenuity involved.
About Nabeshima Torase Kiln|
In 1675, the Nabeshima family built a private kiln in the deep mountains of Okawauchiyama, Saga Prefecture, and made gifts for the shogun. This was the origin of Nabeshima ware, which was a vessel that only shoguns and nobles could use.
Adhering to the traditional techniques of Nabeshima ware and Imari ware, Toranoshin Kiln uses a large amount of high-purity celadon Stone unique to Okawachiyama. The celadon produced here has a moist feeling beyond ordinary porcelain. It has an elegant and natural jade Teal luster.
