This Art Deco pendant necklace from 1920s Germany is crafted from silver and silver gilt, adorned with citrine and moonstone. The pendant originates from Meyle & Mayer (1887-1945), a highly esteemed design house in Pforzheim, Germany. Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and exquisite jewelry design, this workshop was celebrated for its intricate details and sophisticated color palettes. Tragically, the Meyle & Mayer workshop was destroyed during World War II in 1945 and never reopened, making its surviving pieces exceptionally rare and highly collectible.
