After shaping the clay into a rimmed pot, I had it fired in a kerosene kiln at the pottery maker I am currently using, rather than in the electric kiln I normally use at home.
The pottery is fired using a method called reduction firing, which creates an oxygen shortage inside the kiln during firing, allowing you to enjoy a refined flavor that cannot be produced in an electric furnace.
The size makes it suitable for use as a serving bowl or as a single-serving dish.
It can be used to serve simmered or stir-fried dishes, rice for rice bowls, mixed noodles and other noodles, and pasta.
The soft scarlet to white gradation unique to this glaze is rich in flavor and harmonizes with a variety of ingredients.

For this reason, we ship products after performing a water-stopping treatment using a water-stopping agent for tableware, so there is no need to seal the pores.
