As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which can look like small "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory, careful fabric cutting, and by using them in less conspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them entirely.
