It is recommended to regularly wipe and maintain the leather cord to extend its lifespan, especially in summer when sweating or contact with sunscreen may occur. Wipe the entire leather cord with a pure water wet wipe, and once completely dry, apply oil evenly with a cotton cloth. This also helps remove waterproof sunscreen. 2. If the leather becomes heavily saturated with water, dry it as quickly as possible and reapply oil for protection. Allowing it to air dry naturally can cause the leather structure to shrink, deform, and harden. 3. To avoid dark water stains if water drips on the leather: Use a pure water wet wipe, dampened paper, or napkin (ensure it's not dripping wet) to evenly wipe the entire leather surface where the water dripped. Dry with cool air, or if using hot air, maintain a distance of at least 30 cm from the leather. After drying, apply leather oil for maintenance. 4. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. 5. In addition to the natural warmth and oils from your hands gradually giving the leather a warm luster, it is also recommended to regularly wipe with a dry cloth and then maintain with leather oil. 6. Mold spots on leather form over time from dust interacting with air humidity. Therefore, if storing leather goods for extended periods, first wipe off dust with a dry cloth, then wrap in a dust cover, kraft paper, or cotton cloth (cut from an old white t-shirt) and store in a ventilated area. Frequent handling of the leather goods (to prevent dust and humidity buildup) can also reduce the chance of mold, similar to the principle of a rolling stone gathering no moss. 7.
