Fine-gauge yarn is used in a double strand and gently hand-woven, so unlike machine-woven products, it contains air, making it fluffy and soft with a very smooth texture that drapes lightly. A delicate and intricate pattern is woven using soft ivory for the warp and mid-tone gray for the weft. In traditional Japanese colors, this is a beautiful hue close to "Nibi-iro" (lead color). The weaving pattern and color intensity change between the front and back, allowing for various expressions depending on how you wear it.
