Lapuan Kankurit is a family-owned textile company from a small town in central Finland. It has been run by the fourth generation since its establishment in 1917. It has grown from a small textile factory to a nationally renowned brand. Its exquisite textile technology and beautiful works won it the Finnish Handicraft Award (TAITO-FINLANDIA) in 2014.
Lapuan Kankurit pays special attention to the use of natural materials, and strictly controls the protection of the environment in the process of developing and manufacturing products. It promotes the diversified use of products, advocating that everyone can use the same product according to their own habits and preferences, rather than following a standard. For example, the thin blankets that most people use to make beds can also be used as tablecloths, and wool blankets can also be used as shawls. They believe that good quality textiles, if well preserved, can be used for a long time and carefully collected, rather than being quickly eliminated consumables. This concept also thoroughly implements its environmental protection and sustainable brand concept.
Lapuan Kankurit is famous for its high-quality linen fabrics. In addition to its fine texture, its beautiful and elegant design is also one of its attractions. With the arrival of spring, Lapuan Kankurit has launched a new design AAMOS full of natural elements. The RUUT model is from the same designer as everyone's favorite: Heini Riitahuhta, a famous Finnish artist. These two designs have the same delicate brushstrokes, and Heini's rich emotions are embedded in these complex and intertwined lines. AAMOS has a more lively atmosphere. It uses lines and partial color blocks to outline the contours of plants and insects, and fills the details with complex lines and dot patterns to create a hollow beauty. The fine patterns are interwoven on the soft fabric, and the bright but not dazzling color matching is suitable for home furnishings of various styles. The long tablecloths that are rare in Taiwan are actually practical and beautiful, and are easier to clean than large tablecloths. They are suitable for light and dark tabletops. The elegant texture will upgrade your dining table immediately.
