I loved it so much that I wore it all the time — even while jumping wildly on a trampoline. One day, it snapped. Beads scattered everywhere. I was devastated. I gathered every piece and hid them in a candy box, afraid I’d be scolded, and more than that, heartbroken. I tucked the box into my desk drawer and checked on it from time to time. But as the years passed, I lost interest. After a few moves, the box — and the necklace — disappeared. This bag is inspired by that memory. A tribute to something once precious, then lost, and now reimagined through thread and shape. …And yes, I was the one who broke it. But maybe that’s what makes the memory stick — a little clumsy, a little funny, and still kind of beautiful.
