Hand-woven Linen stole [Hokaze*02]
Material: 80% linen, 20% polyester
Size: Approx. 57cm x 200cm (excluding fringe 6cm)
This large-sized stole is hand-woven by ordering the thinnest 120-count hemp thread from a yarn wholesaler in Kyoto, dyeing it in various colors from bleached thread, and hand-woven. It's so thin that it's almost transparent, and it doesn't have any strong firmness or stiffness, and it's very light and soft and blends into your body.
A border design is created by weaving polyester thread into three colors of linen thread. The three-dimensional fancy yarn adds depth to the texture of the cloth.
Ultra-fine ramie thread, which is half the thickness of standard hemp thread used in hand-weaving, is characterized by its low fiber fuzziness and luster. The total number of warp threads is 720, giving it a fine density and a very supple texture. Linen stoles have better water absorption, moisture absorption, and quick drying properties than cotton, so they are not sticky to the skin and have a smooth and refreshing feel, so they can be used for three seasons from spring to autumn.
*Due to the use of three-dimensional synthetic yarn, please iron slightly and apply only steam.
*If you would like wrapping, please let us know as we will accept it free of charge.
