The forest is the birthplace of water. Each tree in the forest can be divided into three layers from top to ground: the canopy layer, the surface layer, and the underground layer. During rainfall, leaves, canopies, and epiphytic plants intercept some moisture, reducing the direct impact of rain on the ground. When it's not raining, the forest slowly releases the water it has absorbed into mountain streams. Because moisture is retained, streams in forested areas rarely run dry. The forest acts like a giant sponge, absorbing and holding a large amount of water. The design is simple yet profoundly meaningful, symbolizing how the forest, embraced by water, is simultaneously rejuvenating it, creating a positive and perpetual cycle.
