These are earrings made by connecting playful skull beads, antique Venetian beads, and ethnic bells.
The skulls have different expressions on each side, but both have a funny face (^ ^)
These arrived from Bhutan.
The handmade feel adds to the charm of these skull beads, which are somehow cute despite being skulls.
Although small, they have a substantial weight.
(Skull bead size: 0.9cm vertical, 0.7cm horizontal)
The beads with white and pink stripes are called "Cane Beads." They are antique Venetian beads (19th-20th century).
The turquoise blue beads are antique Venetian "Chevron" beads. These have a four-layer structure.
"Chevron" means "mountain shape" in English (Rosetta in Italian). They are called the "aristocrats of beads" and hold precious and significant meaning.
Turquoise blue Chevron beads, in particular, are rare and difficult to obtain!!
The bells are from the Kuchi tribe. They were used as decorative items and are old pieces. They do not make a sound.
These are earrings where you can enjoy small, playful skulls.
