Broken or chipped ceramics that are no longer in use are upcycled and adorned with kintsugi to be reborn as accessories. The concept behind these pieces is to allow people to feel close to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, transforming them into modern accessories that connect to the future and open up new possibilities. Delicate blue and white pottery fragments are paired with lapis lazuli. Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the pottery shards, allowing the gold to shimmer from every angle and adding an elegant touch. This piece is crafted using a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional kintsugi that uses natural lacquer derived from the urushi tree, this piece uses adhesive for its primary bonding.
