AIR - Her Aura, Her Sky, Her Melodies
Breath is unseen, yet its presence is undeniable. The flute, without reeds, bows, or percussive force, produces its unique timbre and embodies a spectrum of expression purely through breath. From girl, to wife, to expectant mother, to mother – this journey is not only one of physical and spiritual transformation, but also of musical fermentation and evolution. The album’s selections encompass the tenderness, resilience, restraint, and passion of women, reflecting their infinite possibilities. Much like their inner truths, these women convey, through melodies filled with emotion and warmth across different times and spaces, an enduring strength that allows them to soar in the boundless sky of freedom.
Through profound interpretations, this album not only records the most authentic self in the present moment but also transmits the powerful and soul-soothing musical ideas of these female composers.
