Vintage Polish pastry dishes made by Chodziez.
The history of the Chodziez faience factory starts in 1852 or 1854 when Hermann Müller and Ludwik Schnorr bought a burnt building of the Grudzinski castle from count Koenigsmarck. After 1992, the factory started operating as Zakłady Porcelany i Porcelitu Chodzież S.A.
The mark at the bottom of these plates was in use from 1964 up to the 1990s. These plates are in undamaged, fairly good condition with wear on the gold and surface marks due to usage as well as possibly a small patch of glaze wear. The photographs are a part of the description.
