Vintage hand-painted vases with beautiful floral decor from the famous Belgian brand H. Bequet. Very nice example of ceramic artist Hubert Bequet, artfully hand painted with multi-coloured flowers and rich gilding. The bottom is stamped. Great set and would look wonderful on a mantle or buffet! The Belgian manufactory “Hubert Bequet” was created by a talented Belgian ceramist who began his career with Auguste at the manufactory “Auguste Mosin and Co.” Hubert Beko located his manufactory in the outskirts of Quaregnon and began producing his products in 1934. Hand-painted objects, vases, jugs, teapots immediately gained recognition all over the world due to the successful combination of bright colors, original shapes and hand painting. The manufactory was closed in April 1985.
