What is the wood-firing process?** American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-pinching (not a pottery wheel) to gradually form the shape. After basic shaping, the body lines are refined, and then polished to complete the greenware. Once placed in the kiln, the wood-firing process using natural longan wood and acacia wood lasts for five days and four nights continuously. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a special ash glaze. Simultaneously, the flame patterns within the kiln flow among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks. After five days and four nights of ash and flame interaction, a week of cooling is required before a piece achieves its beautiful form! What should esteemed guests be aware of?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. As works are purely handmade, they will inevitably bear traces of the crafting process. Minor variations may also occur during firing, such as slight imperfections in the rim or small production scratches, which are considered normal and do not affect usability.
