He skillfully incorporates the natural colors and textures of the stone into his designs, resulting in carvings that are both vibrant and dynamic. **Artist Biography:** Born in 1973 in Fangyuan Township, Changhua County. Began studying jade carving in Taipei in 1988. Received an honorable mention in the Craft category at the 14th Nanying Art Exhibition in 2000 and participated in a joint jade exhibition at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in August of the same year. Invited to the Hualien International Art Festival in 2001 for live carving in the local creation zone. Selected for the "Dream of Craftsmanship" award at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition in 2002. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit at the "Taitung Local Special Exhibition" at the Presidential Office in 2003. Invited by the National Taiwan Museum to participate in the "1000 Faces of Formosa Special Exhibition" in 2005, with his works showcased in exchange at the National Museum in the Czech Republic. Exhibited at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in 2013 in the "Cross-Strait Jade Carving Masters Gathering," where he was invited to display in the Taiwanese Jade Master section. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit at the Presidential Office Gallery in 2016 as part of the "Gathering Around the Stove -- Sustainable Crafts Exhibition." Held his solo exhibition, "Xie Zhong-ren: 30 Years of Jade Carving - The Continuation of Culture," at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in 2018.
