The depiction features a single plum tree with branches extending in various directions, showcasing blooming and budding plum flowers, creating an elegant and harmonious composition. Several bamboo shoots lean against the trunk, and a few magpies in different postures are also depicted. The inscription in ink reads, "Ke Ren Qu Fu Zhi Chun Se, Chang Zhan Dong Feng Di Yi Zhi," which translates to "The lovely quails know the colors of spring, and they always seize the first hint of the east wind." Following the poetic verse, there are additional depictions of "Four Seasons" and "Longevity" in red pigment. The bottom of the vessel is inscribed with two lines in regular script using blue pigment, stating "Made in the Yongzheng Reign."
