This model faithfully recreates the amazing Pavilion of Prince Teng – one of the three Great Towers of southern China. Built in 653 in the city of Nanchang in Jiangxi province, the tower has been rebuilt 28 times! Using 3 sheets of etched brass, the finished model shows the current version of the tower which was built in 1989, using concrete instead of the original traditional Song dynasty wooden structure. Along with Piececool’s models of the other Great Towers, the Yueyang Tower and the Yellow Crane Pavilion, the Pavilion of Prince Teng makes a fantastic display piece.
