The design of the tokkuri has been directly adapted for the sake cup. It has a simple design, with 32 equal vertical lines dividing the entire piece, but the design is well-crafted and in no way inferior to more expensive pieces. Nothing has been carved into the bottom, but the 32 vertical lines come together to create a vague circular shape. There is a mysterious beauty to it that you can see forever. I think it would look good if you used it together with the "Tokuri/Bamboo Grove" design for a unified look.
