Yoruba ashoke black Hmong embroidery indigo & persimmon juice dye wool hat

This is a wool hat that combines elements of elegant and cool handiwork from Asia and Africa. The band wrapped around the crown is made of Ashoke (*), a hand-woven cloth of the Yoruba tribe who live in the Nigerian forest region of West Africa. As an accent in the brass logo below I put a part of the Vietnamese Black Hmong tribal costume (three-dimensional embroidery) decorated. The piping on the edge of the brim is made of indigo-dyed and persimmon dyed cotton. Recommended for those who like to incorporate indigo-dyed, persimmon dyed, vintage, military, workwear and other styles and elements into their fashion. ***** ※Ashoke means "the best cloth" and is a traditional cloth worn by the Yoruba people for both men and women in everyday and various ceremonial occasions. Ashoke is usually woven using the "jump weave" technique, where "flying threads" are created through regular holes. (I don't know the proper English for these terms) Although it is the traditional cloth of the Yoruba people, it is so innovative that famous designers in Europe and America use it for bags and clothes because of the colorful threads used in some places.
