Protecting whale sharks starts with you and me
Losin Island, located in Pattani, Thailand, is one of the habitats of whale sharks. However, serious garbage problems and human activities such as overfishing in fisheries have caused a sharp decline in the number of whale sharks.
Through the cooperation between Qualy and Enjametha Ceramic, we realize the importance of peaceful coexistence between the ocean and human beings and respect for each other's sustainability.
Cup body: In cooperation with Enjametha Ceramic, a famous local ceramic brand in Pattani, the artist used local Pattani soil and mixed it with the fine sand from Panarae Beach to present the soil texture on the shiny surface, reflecting the fine sand on the cup, allowing us to directly touch the earth. real feel.
Glazing: The matte effect is perfectly blended with traditional clay and fired at a high temperature of 1270 degrees. Different layers of coatings will appear on each fine glass, just like the traces left by waves hitting the golden sand. Leaves a unique ripple around the cup.
Cup rim: The rim of the wine glass is designed to make it easier for the aroma to be captured by the sense of smell. You can clearly enjoy the aroma and layers of coffee or tea when drinking.
Spiral at the bottom of the cup: The pattern at the bottom of the cup is a symbol of natural growth. Each cup has its own specific proportions and is as unique as a person’s fingerprint.
Whale shark handle: made from recycled fishing nets collected from the Net free seas project of the famous international environmental organization EJF.
※Heat resistance 110°C
