The retro begonia flower embossed glass is the memory of many people’s childhood window glass at their grandma’s house.
During the production process, 3mm crabapple glass must be cleaned and cut first, then ground and molded, and finally shaped and fired in a high-temperature kiln exceeding 700 degrees Celsius. Since the high temperature will burn away the stains and impurities before the finished product is fired, the surface texture of the finished product will appear smooth after firing, so it will look like new.
Taiwan's traditional vintage crabapple flower embossed glass has been discontinued long ago and is not easy to collect. As traditional old buildings are demolished and rebuilt one after another, these beautiful window grilles have entered the long river of history over time. So every time we make a piece, there is one less piece, and we cherish it very much.
