Four-Strand Earrings with Vintage Aurora Czech Beads, Karen Silver, Gooseberries, and French/Italian Vintage Beads

These are four-strand earrings, intricately connected with vintage aurora Czech beads, Karen silver, gooseberries, and French and Italian vintage beads. The multifaceted beads are vintage pieces from either Czech or France. Their surfaces possess a subtle, aurora-like shimmer that catches the light across all facets. Unlike modern beads where this shimmer can be quite pronounced, vintage ones have a much softer glow, sometimes appearing almost clear at first glance. While these beads are in relatively good condition, some minor scratches are present. This particular type features a cut design, and due to being hand-cut, the shapes may vary slightly between left and right. (Aurora bead size: 0.4cm length x 0.4cm width) The striped beads are known as "gooseberries" and are antique Venetian beads (19th-20th century). They are named for their resemblance to the fruit of the currant bush. We've used slightly sepia-toned versions. The small opal glass and clear beads are vintage French and Italian glass. You can enjoy the warm, distinctive character that only vintage pieces can offer. The double-spiral rings, pouch-like beads, and flower-engraved silver pieces are all Karen silver. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in the Thai-Burmese border region. Each piece is handmade, and the silver is said to be of exceptionally high purity. The French hooks are also made of sterling silver (925), indicated by a "925" stamp. The flower-shaped beads are also silver.
