Kalimantan Agarwood | Top-tier Xingzhou region - Rich, Cool, and Fragrant.
Among the Xingzhou agarwood producing regions, Kalimantan agarwood has long been recognized as a representative of high-quality agarwood. Located in Indonesian Borneo, this vast island, about fifteen times the size of Taiwan, boasts a relatively sparse population. This allows for the preservation of extensive primeval rainforests, creating an ideal environment for the growth and resin formation of natural agarwood trees.
In recent years, due to over-harvesting, the output of natural Kalimantan agarwood has rapidly declined. Agarwood with high oil content and exceptional fragrance has become increasingly rare. High-quality Kalimantan agarwood circulating in the market today is often found by chance and holds significant collectible value.
Kalimantan agarwood is renowned for its stable, rich aroma. Initially, it carries a distinct woody scent, followed by a natural coolness and notes of frankincense. Some older pieces may even offer a soft sweetness reminiscent of flowers and fruits. The overall fragrance is layered, warm, and substantial, providing a scent that remains pleasant with prolonged exposure, much to the delight of agarwood experts and enthusiasts alike.
Currently, Kalimantan aged agarwood, aged over thirty years, is even more precious. These pieces have been preserved by previous generations, and with time, their aroma has become more mellow and stable. Offered on our online platform, it allows discerning collectors to browse and purchase with confidence. Whether for daily appreciation or long-term collection, it holds exceptional value.

Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1983, Kwood's background is in craft design. He traveled extensively through Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused ancient alleyways with warm, profound life. Objects that seem like fragments of time, carrying traces of history and glimpses of the future, find a delicate balance between opposition and harmony. This is transformed into refined works, closely connecting the vision of a new generation with the simplicity of the past. Agarwood, once crushed into powder for incense, is also respectfully placed in prominent areas of homes in Japan, symbolizing vitality and brightness.
Sourced directly from its origin, the agarwood is pure and unblemished, untouched by artificial processes such as glue boiling, staining, or the use of fragrances. It is presented in its most natural state. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer bark of the deadwood is carefully stripped by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only bestows it with eternal vitality but also allows tradition and modern craftsmanship to intertwine subtly at the fingertips, creating a feast for both the eyes and the senses. Its rich aroma, like solidified time, gently draws together past memories and future aspirations, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, extending endlessly, distant and profound.
