Porter Cake is a traditional Cantonese pastry. Originally made in Taishan, it has become one of the traditional snacks in Hong Kong. The traditional port cake is made of brown sugar, sticky rice flour, etc., and then steamed in a small tiled port; however, most of the current production methods have changed to small porcelain bowls. When eating, the port cake is poured out of the small port and eaten with a bamboo skewer. Some port cakes are made with red beans; others are made of white sugar, so they are white. The freshly steamed port cake is warm, smooth, fragrant, and soft.
