Ruisui Harvest Year of the Ox Print Postcard
The creation of this artwork is inspired by the simple and diligent nature of the ox, the zodiac animal representing the Year of the Ox. It blends this with the imagery of Taiwanese rural rice stalks and granaries. The process of hard work is transformed into ripening grain, where every drop of effort accumulates into a bountiful and fulfilling harvest. Peonies and flourishing flowers in the upper left and lower right corners symbolize wealth and prosperity for the New Year. Pairs of birds, peace doves, and the metaphor of a gently flowing stream are among the many small details within the artwork, adding richness to the piece while simultaneously expressing hopes for the coming year.
