Sidamo is a large swath of land on the fertile plateau of the Rift Valley region and is one of three trademark coffee-producing regions in Ethiopia. Sidamo's altitude ranges from 1,550 to 2,200 meters, with abundant rainfall, suitable temperatures, and fertile soil. About 60% of the coffee produced in this production area is washed. Sidamo coffee is known for its rich, full, vibrant, bright acidity, as well as floral and citrus aromas.
