Chain not included. ### What is 14K Gold-Filled Wire? ° Full English name: 1/20 14K gold filled wire ° This is a manufacturing process where a thick layer of 14K gold is mechanically bonded to a base metal core (such as brass or another alloy). Gold-filled items have strong adhesion and high wear resistance, making them less prone to flaking and significantly more durable than gold-plated items. ° The '1/20' designation, as stipulated by the U.S. FTC, indicates that the 14K gold content must constitute at least 1/20th (5%) of the product's total weight to be classified as 1/20 14K gold-filled. ° A little tip: Only gold-filled items produced in the United States are considered genuine gold-filled. ^_*
