However, fabrics and saris made in India come in fixed lengths and widths, inevitably leaving scraps when we craft garments. So we wondered: Couldn't we repurpose these scraps and give them new life? That thought led to this gathered skirt. Even small or narrow pieces are precious fabrics woven with care by Indian artisans. Combining various colors and patterns creates an incredibly luxurious skirt. And each one is truly one-of-a-kind. We diligently combine the remnants we have in stock at the time, guided by a sort of feeling, to create each piece. So, what skirts will be born next, or even how many we can make, remains unknown. But that's part of the fun and charm of these skirts. It truly is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. Another recommended feature is the elastic waistband. This keeps your tummy comfortable.
