Original rare chess set from Soviet Union, 1947 to 1951, model is called « Botvinnik - Flohr II» or BFII, as it was the favorite chess style of the Soviet chess champion Mikhaïl Botvinnik. Also used at the match with Flohr. Good overall vintage condition. Please see photos. Made uniquely from wood. King is 11 cm tall.
Fits board starting from 40*40 cm, the best would be 45*45 cm. Sold without a board, only pieces
