As the shop owner, I rarely purchase pre-owned jewelry (mainly because I use it less often). Compared to pre-owned bags, jewelry isn't always the most cost-effective.
Items in good condition are usually not inexpensive, especially from my two favorite brands, Celine and Loewe.
They produced fewer jewelry pieces historically (compared to brands like Dior and Chanel, which have an overwhelming amount of options...).
Furthermore, awareness of preservation was lower in the past, so many items are not in the best condition. Consequently, the overall circulation of pre-owned jewelry on the market is quite limited compared to other brands.
I often wear modified pieces. Even small, exquisite vintage components can be transformed into stylish and understated accessories.
This is a 100% authentic Celine vintage necklace that has been repurposed. The original vintage necklace was genuine, but the clasp was broken and oxidized.
However, the chain itself is still beautiful. With the recent trend towards intellectual and understated styles, I've repurposed the small clasp into a delicate accessory.
The entire necklace is brass plated with gold, very finely crafted. It's small and has a substantial feel! It possesses a weight and intricacy that modern pieces lack.
The Triomphe motif is uniformly golden, with no obvious signs of plating loss, oxidation, or discoloration. The original photos show oxidation typically around the connecting links (Figures 7-9).
As the modifications are handmade, if you have any specific changes or ideas, please message me to discuss if they can be accommodated.
Otherwise, the finished product will be as shown in the photos above (explained further below). The chain style may be altered depending on the materials used.
If you feel you have too many earrings, consider having them made into a necklace, bracelet, or bag charm. You can simply attach them to a zipper or strap β they look lovely. I have a few small charms myself; one hangs from a plain black bag, and another is used as a chain decoration on a mini Boston bag.

ββΛΛ The Triomphe gold clasp itself is in excellent condition. Upon close inspection, there are minor signs of age on the edges, but they are not noticeable! It's gilded brass with a genuine texture.
The entire pendant is golden, with no significant oxidation or discoloration. Do you see the engraving in the photo? This is the vintage Triomphe style from an earlier era.
The concept of Celine's Triomphe logo is inspired by the chain pattern on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The details of the patterns differ between the old and new eras.
The older patterns have more intricate details and several variations. The modern style has been unified, so there are no detailed differences.
I must emphasize again: the Triomphe pendant is 100% authentic, not fake or replica. I still have the original necklace and its original box!
The earrings can be purchased individually or as a pair, which is convenient for those who prefer to wear just one. Purchasing a pair offers a slight discount.
(I personally enjoy wearing single earrings for an asymmetrical look, with a long ear wire on one ear and a very basic mini stud on the other. It looks great.)
I've created two styles: an ear wire and a stud. The ear wire can be threaded directly through the earlobe and pulled back to adjust the front-to-back length, giving a very clean and minimalist feel.
The stud style has a fixed height. When worn, the Triomphe will lie horizontally below the ear, making it more clearly visible.
Please note that the chain style may be adjusted due to material availability, but the overall effect and style will not significantly differ.
Minor adjustments within the scope of handmade items will not be individually notified. If you have specific concerns or requirements, please message me beforehand.
You can also message me with any other modification ideas. The chains are modern metal with gold plating. They do not fade with daily use, but please avoid submerging them in water.
This item also has a special bundled price if purchased with a pre-owned bag, or as part of a bracelet + necklace set.
β The photos are taken by the shop owner under natural sunlight, showing the actual item. Lighting can vary depending on the time of day, so color variations are possible.
Due to the unique nature of pre-owned orders, all sales are final. Please examine the photos carefully before placing your order.

The shop owner's primary reason for loving pre-owned bags is that the materials from earlier eras are far superior to those in modern pieces.
In the past, most pre-owned items were made by hand β¦, imbued with the warmth of craftsmanship rather than mass production.
The skill of artisans was far more delicate than that of machines, just as everyone appreciates products handmade by skilled craftspeople!
However, today, the vast majority of processes are mechanized with minimal human assembly, losing the former meticulousness.
I find the simplest and most direct comparison is to look at the recent "revival" versions of old patterns from various brands and compare them to the genuine old patterns.
The level of detail in the patterns alone is entirely different. If you love monogram patterns, you must seek out pre-owned items! Truly!
In terms of style, older eras were more β¦ simple, timeless, and enduring. Many current new designs are actually revivals of older styles.
However, new models are priced higher than older ones. New designs are typically based on older styles, with added details or modifications.
The final product always ends up more complex (or strange...) than the older versions. I believe as we grow older, we realize one thing: the simpler, the more enduring!
As we age, our clothing choices often return to basic styles because the most fundamental pieces are the most versatile.
The quality of materials in older pieces is superior to newer ones. If you understand β¦ leather, you'll see it. The materials used in new items are mostly inferior to those in older ones.
This is mainly because the cost of high-quality raw materials is too high today, and their availability is less than before. Earth's resources are dwindling...
Furthermore, brands back then didn't have the "ubiquitous" presence of numerous stores like they do now... Their clientele typically had a certain income and high expectations for the finished products. There was no "fast fashion culture" back then; a bag was expected to be used for many years.
The difference between new and old eras is clearly visible in the β¦ hardware. Many new hardware pieces oxidize and discolor after just one or two years of use, but older models typically do not. This is due to not only superior materials and meticulous craftsmanship but also because hardware from earlier eras was plated with real K gold!
It's worth mentioning that Chanel Vintage is expensive for a reason; many of its clasps and chains contain real gold, certified by gold merchants!
This is why, even for Vintage bags from as early as the 60s and 70s, if properly preserved, the hardware can still gleam today.
As for new models available now, from what I know of the brands, none of their hardware contains K gold anymore, which is why it oxidizes so easily.
Many people say buying Vintage bags is a form of alternative investment because they rarely depreciate and often appreciate in value.
This is because good-condition pre-owned bags are becoming increasingly scarce; each one lost means one less in existence. Remember, each of these is a discontinued item.
The number that exists in the world is finite, so they will only become fewer, more expensive, and harder to find.
Moreover, many brands increase their prices periodically, and each increase drives up the prices in the pre-owned market.
Alternatively, if a brand releases a "reissue," the Vintage reference or similar styles will see a sharp price increase!
Adding to this, with the recent popularity of vintage items among Japanese and Korean celebrities, once a particular item is worn by a celebrity, its price skyrockets β truly skyrockets.
This is because, for a period, many people will frantically search for that item or a similar alternative, and the prices of those few items will increase exponentially...
Therefore, Vintage is truly a case of "buy early, enjoy longer; buy late, pay more" (this isn't an advertising slogan... it's a truth in the pre-owned world...).
This is my personal experience; I regret not getting into many series earlier... I can't find them now, and even if I do, they come with a sky-high price tag...
But the problem is, even if you know it's a sky-high price, you feel compelled to buy it because waiting will only mean a higher price (unless the condition is poor).
I am often asked about bag maintenance (α’.Λ¬.α’). I will include a small note with details inside the bag, so don't worry.
My personal habit is to give them a polish when I organize my closet during seasonal changes (so each seasonal change is quite an undertaking...|||).
Actually, pre-owned bags aren't that troublesome. When you're new to it, you just need to get used to regular maintenance and cherishing your bag. Once it becomes a habit, it's not difficult.
Pre-owned bags are made from excellent materials. As long as they are not used roughly and are preserved properly, they can easily last another ten years and be passed down to your daughter!
Every pre-owned bag I collect is one I genuinely love, so I hope you will love it too and preserve it well βͺοΈ *.γ
